Dining

...sunset cocktails...

...fresh lobster...

Dining on St. Croix is an activity in itself. There are so many choices of cuisine you would need to eat five meals a day to appreciate all of the island fare. We know the island, so we can help you find the dining experience you're looking for...just ask!

Off the Wall Restaurant

Relatively new to the island is one of our favorite restaurants, Salud! A fun and energetic meditteranean restaurant that offers savory dishes for every palate. Chef Noah will have your mouth watering, while the bartenders makes the best mojitos and creative cocktails on island.

Elizabeth's, located just a few minutes down the hill and on the beach, attracts a lot of our guests. Not only does Jason offers an array of extensive, nightly specials and the regular menu but late night dining in the bar!

In the heart of downtown Christiansted is Kendrick's, located in the historic Quin House. The chef is known for his sauces. There is also Savant with its fusion of Thai, Mexican, and Caribbean cuisines. There is an outdoor seating for viewing the passing scene and a garden courtyard created by sculptor Kate Bartoldus. Another favorite of ours is Bacchus the place for a decadent and memorable dinner upstairs in a historic Christiansted townhouse. They serve traditional American and French cuisine, including hand cut steaks, local lobster and fresh fish. Their pool table is incredible too! Rounding out the list of great restaurants in the heart of Christiansted is Zebo's. One of the newer restaurants to the island with a great atmosphere both inside the bar area and out with sidewalk dining.

Just 15 minutes away is the town of Fredriksted where you can find the newest beach bar on island Coconuts on the Beach! Friendly staff, great food and drinks and a view that can't be beat...what more could you ask for? Le St. Tropez serving the finest French cuisine on the island in their quaint restaurant offering indoor and outdoor atmosphere. If you want a romantic dining experience on the beach Sunset Grill is the place. Watch the sunset from your table on the beach while enjoying incredible cuisine...their specials every night are always a delight...from lobster to duck. Villa Morales is the only place to truly experience Crucian cuisine...sample stewed goat, buttered conch, BBQ spareribs, local fish...all family style, or order from their menu for other island favorites.

With so many fantastic restaurants on St Croix we can't highlight them all so click here to check out some more.

When you stay with us we will take care of guiding you to whatever your palate is calling for that evening, we even have menus for previewing at your leisure here at Villa Greenleaf.

Activities

A great way to start your vacation on St. Croix is an island tour with Safari Tours. Their open air jeeps can take from 4 to 16 passengers and will give you a great introduction to the island. The guides are a wealth of information as they have lived on the island most if not all their lives.

Ride horses on the beach!

Looking for a great way to see the island from a unique perspective? Look no further than horseback riding on the beach or through the rain forest with Paul and Jill.

Check out the dive company that was voted Best Dive Shop on St. Croix for 2007 as well as the one Villa Greenleaf's staff was certified with, Anchor Dive Shop. It is only a 5 minute boat ride to St Croix's best (and most requested) dive sites from Anchor Dive Center's prime location in Salt River National Park. Their professional and courteous PADI trained staff ate the best on St Croix for diver training, and their daily operations focus on small groups for personal attention.

Cane Bay Dive Shop on the North Shore offers diving on your schedule, whether from the shore or boat. Cane Bay is known worldwide as one of the most spectacular wall dives because the dropoff starts in only 25 feet of water and rolls off at a 60° angle to almost 3 miles deep. Non-divers and snorkelers can spend the day on the beach right at the dive shop.

Another dive shop in the North Shore worth looking into is N2 the Blue this small but friendly shop keeps in nice and minimal by taking no more than 6 divers on the boat at a time. They also give you the option to get the classroom work out of the way before you get to the island so that you can get certified in St. Croix without having to spend your days taking tests! Take a look at their website to get the paperwork and more information.

...underwater parks...

...island hopping...

Scuba West in Frederiksted offers great short calm water boat dives on the leeward side of the island. You can always dive here when the seas are too much for you on the other side.

Now if you are looking for one company to handle every adventure you want to do, then look no further than Caribbean Sea Adventures. They offer diving, kayaking, snorkeling, sunset sails, and fishing all with the same company, as well as custom packages to fit your needs for a savings that's worth looking into!

Sail to Buck Island!

Want to set sail? Whether you're looking for a day sail, a sunset cruise or a custom trip, Bilinda Charters has it all. Live the fantasy of sailing the sapphire waters of the Caribbean Sea on their classic 37' Albin Stratus sailboat, led by an experienced USCG captain.

If your looking for a new, fun and energetic way to spend time in the water and air then look no further than kitesurfing on St. Croix. Bill Kraft and Isabelle Picard, owners of Kite St Croix are dialed in to the wind on St Croix and offer classes for everyone from first timers on a kite to the intermediate looking to advance to the next level. Call 340.773.9890 and see why kitesurfing is becoming the next big sport!

Kayaking on St. Croix is one of the greatest ways to enjoy Salt River Bay, our National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve. Virgin Kayak can take you there in a safe, and relaxing, top of the line kayak. Their coastal sea tours are the best way to see St. Croix's magnificent North Shore.

Sunset sail

Buck Island, one of only two underwater U.S. national monuments, is just two miles north of St. Croix, and Big Beard's Adventure Tours offers twice daily sailings. Big Beard's knowledgeable and friendly crew will teach the novice to snorkel and guide you through the underwater monument. Buck Island also offers one of the most pristine beaches for sunning.

An all day off road four wheel drive adventure with Tan Tan Tours is the only way to see the island from the highest points. Get views that are impossible from any road. Visit areas that normally take four hours to hike in and out of like the tidal pools. Wave and his team of drivers really know how to show off our beautiful island...not to mention they are a blast to spend the day with.

Looking for something new and well let's just say special?? Then book a trip on the Historic Schooner, Roseway. The National Historic Landmark Schooner Roseway is home to the World Ocean School, a floating classroom serving students in St Croix during the winter and throughout the world in the summer. In order to support the education programs aboard the ship, World Ocean School offers two-hour sails for the local community and visitors to the island - providing access to one of America's maritime treasures. Be a part of the crew and help unfurl the sails, or sit back and relax, taking in the majestic beauty of St. Croix's coastline and the Caribbean Sea.

Want to do some island hopping to our sister islands? We can arrange a short 18 minutes flight with Seaborne Airlines.

...lay back and let

us take care...

Buccaneer Golf Course

Golf at the Buccaneer Golf Course, a beautiful, scenic and challenging resort course located right on the ocean front or at Carambola Golf Course, a championship Robert Trent Jones design. We are located right between both of them.

There are many other activities we can arrange for you as well: private sailing to Buck Island, ecological tours, deep sea fishing just to name a few...and don't forget we have a casino too. So you just lay back and let us take care of you.
