About the Inn
Villa Greenleaf is St. Croix's newest luxury accommodation, coupling modern amenities with charming West Indies style. Located just west of Christiansted, the cultural and business epicenter of St. Croix, the inn sits high atop the hills, overlooking historic Salt River Bay and the Caribbean to the north.
Owned and operated by the same staff that made Greenleaf Inn & Admiral's Quarters in Boothbay Harbor one of the top New England inns, Villa Greenleaf raises the bar for service and comfort in the Caribbean.
...luxury accommodations...
...charming local flair...
Imagine a place that has all the services of a large resort but is nevertheless as snug as an elegant family retreat. Now imagine such a place in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Villa Greenleaf on St. Croix brings the meticulousness of the New England innkeeping tradition—the attention to detail, the anticipation of guests' needs, the unfazed readiness to make any and all special arrangements—to one of the loveliest places on earth.
Needless to say, the amenities are top-of-the-line: Jacuzzi, pool, charming rooms with terraces and wonderful views...beaches, tennis and golf nearby... easily arranged snorkeling and diving trips. But what really sets the Villa Greenleaf apart is what it brings to St. Croix from the great New England innkeeping tradition: a level of polish, an unobtrusive perfection, a take-it-for-granted comfort that promises to mix wonderfully well with the take-it-for-granted warmth and sun of St. Croix. In other words, if you're looking for the kind of place where you don't really have to ask for anything at all because the owners have already thought of it, you can now head south to St. Croix.
A former private residence, Villa Greenleaf has been extensively renovated down to the last detail, adding new space and instilling an air of relaxed luxury perfectly suited for the discriminating traveler. Each of the five suites has been decorated with the utmost care, to ensure that our guests rest comfortably without sacrificing style.

About St. Croix
The largest and most secluded of the three U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Croix combines a rich cultural history with some of the most beautiful beaches and exciting aquatic activities in the Caribbean. Bathed in cool trade winds and bountiful sunshine, St. Croix's average temperature of 82° makes it an ideal vacation spot year round, whether you're trying to escape the cold, or the heat.
...America's paradise...
...beautiful beaches...
Dotted with the ruins of over 100 sugar mills and estate houses, including the sprawling Rust Op Twist ruins located just minutes from Villa Greenleaf, St. Croix offers a unique view into the past, as well as the future, of the Caribbean. As a nod to local history, our villa suites have been named in honor of a few of these former estates.
Local trivia abounds. St. Croix was the first Caribbean island Columbus landed at on his second westward voyage to the Americas, not to mention served as the boyhood home to statesman Alexander Hamilton. St. Croix has seen the flags of France, Denmark and others fly over her hills, and so shares a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. St. Croix is home to the easternmost part of the U.S., Point Udall. And yes, we drive on the left here, but we still drive left-handed cars.
